Future 500 Microgrant 2026
by David Bakum, in cooperation with Bilal Kasaoui (Baynatna Collective)
The project uses communal cooking and storytelling as a low-threshold approach to fostering dialogue on European migration, identity and worldviews. Through a range of participatory formats, participants work together to explore their personal experiences and, building on these, develop a ‘Dialogue Card Deck’ as a practical tool for European education and dialogue work. The tool is being tested and further developed as part of a separate initiative involving multipliers from various European target countries. The approach is based on everyday practices and personal stories, thereby facilitating an inclusive and easily accessible exchange. The tool developed can be used beyond the scope of the project and can be implemented and adapted by civil society actors in various European contexts.
