Future 500 provides microgrants for young European professionals to support innovative initiatives that promote interreligious-worldview dialogue across Europe.
Applications are now open for Initiative Grants:
- Up to €5,000 per project
- For European change agents developing projects linked to interreligious and worldview-related topics within a European context.
- Funded projects should generate a tangible and transferable output.
- Projects should aim to develop structured materials such as policy recommendations, toolkits, guidelines, training concepts, or best-practice documentation for European dialogue work.
Timelime
- Application deadline: 31 March 2026
- Decision notification: mid April 2026
- Project duration: Mai – October 2026
- Final report and financial documentation deadline: 15 November 2026
How to Apply?
Microgrants are available to young European professionals who actively engage in the Future 500 programme. Funding is provided for projects that actively promote plurality, encourage open dialogue and tackle the most pressing societal issues facing Europe today. Multilateral collaborations are particularly encouraged.
Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Expected reach and impact
- Quality and relevance of the content
- Innovation and originality
- Feasibility and practicality
- Innovation and practicality
- Transferability of results (e.g. development of recommendations, toolkits or structured materials)
